Bryan Clough
Bryan Clough lives in the UK, where he was born.
He has travelled widely and he has met 'The Dark Avenger', a notorious computer virus writer, in Bulgaria and various 'phreakers' and computer hackers in the Netherlands and the UK, including 'The Mad Hacker'. These were described in his first book Approaching Zero (1992).
His follow-up book Cheating at Cards (1994) revealed over 40 ways of fraudulently obtaining money from Automated Teller Machines.
This immediately led to Beware of Your Bank (1995).
He then turned the spotlight on MI5 in State Secrets: The Kent-Wolkoff Affair (2005). Visit the State Secrets website here.
Now, he has investigated the infamous Doctor Crippen who murdered his wife in 1910. The results of his researches are now available on this website DrCrippen.co.uk (2009).
